352 Media Group is hosting a Web Design & Development Competition with cash prizes!!

Calling all Web designers and developers! Can you design, code, or program? Do you like cash? Then this is a win-win for you! 352 Media Group is hosting a live Web Dev Competition on the Santa Fe College campus from 6-8PM on Wednesday, April 11.  There are cash prizes of $250, $100, and $50 for first, second, and third respectively in both the Web Design/Coding and Programming divisions. That’s $800 on the line, for all you non-math majors.

Web Design & Coding Student Competition
For graphic designers and coders, you'll be given a Website with all the code and graphics files. You'll be given a list of tasks to complete, ranging from graphical changes to fixing coding bugs. You'll have one hour to complete as many tasks as possible. Don't worry if you can't get to them all - just do your best! Winners will be selected by our expert judges based on not only how many tasks you complete, but also how you completed them.

Web Programming Student Competition
Can you code under pressure? You'll be asked to create a basic functional element. We'll provide specific details, and even give you some harder options for "extra credit." You'll have one hour to get as far as you can in developing the feature. Judging will be based on how quickly and completely you program the feature.
