I definitely was a fan of the toss, whether it was balloon or egg I was all about it. It was the only game that I could truly dominate at.

3 words, 1 big special spot in my heart. CAPTURE.THE.FLAG. Capture the Flag, to me, is the greatest game ever played. I wake up in cold sweats sometimes thinking of the brilliant games once played, opportunities lost, and flags captured.

They had this awesome event where we wore tuxedo bathrobes backwards... Sadly, I lost mine in a terrible robe fire. If only I could find another.....

Not that it matters, but my favorite field day event was definitely tug of war. I'm excited to be the referee for today's event.

My all time favorite field day event is Capture The Flag. I absolutely love playing it. Tug of war is a close second. I would skip the rest of the events and play only those two in school.

Sort of like an Egg Toss, We use to play Grape Toss. Whoever caught a Grape in their mouth from the greatest thrown distance won!

I LIVED for the mixed up shoe race when I was younger! Everyone would take off one shoe and throw them in a huge pile, then the teams would race relay style to the pile, find your appropriate shoe, put it on and run back! I usually had some wacky colored shoe that I could slip on without tying, so I was great at this race.

I loved the game where you throw the water balloon to the person on the other side...I had a mad arm.

Wow--that was an intense game of tug-a-war. My favourite game is capture the flag...so much fun!

I played caterpillar kickball once and it was so fun! You basically have to get in a line and pass the ball overhead and under legs until the end of the line to tag someone out. Also there is nothing funnier than watching someone stumble around after dizzy bat!

I always loved capture the flag, because it involved the whole class and was a true measure of expertise and skill! It would be even better to play dressed in a Tuxedo Snuggie!!!

Definitely potato sack races - It's been about 25 years yet I can still smell that burlap. That smell triggered the beginning of summer vacation.

I gotta go with potato sack races - mostly because it reminds me of the Brady Bunch episode when they raced on their painted green concrete yard. Kept hoping for a major spill by Jan....she's just so annoying. And I totally need a Snuggie to add to my collection of 6....I get celebrities to wear them. So far, Arianna Huffington is the most famous person to wear one of mine. But a tuxedo Snuggie - that'll get me really far with the celebs!

I went to a military school. We did not have field day. We did have a morning drill and I got to play with guns. However, I did like sack races when I was a kid.

there's one that really promotes teamwork, 5 people basically strap their feet to 2 x 4's holding ropes that hold the feet in place, and race another team strapped to the same setup, difficulty level high...crash factor high! everybody has to be in sync to make it happen.

Loved a Frisbee game, where there was a long rope. You had to get the Frisbee the furthest, then each foot away from the rope was subtracted.
