Careers: ASP.NET Web Programmer

Programs custom Web applications, using ASP.NET 2.0 and C#.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Works off of a functional project plan created by the Project Manager that defines the scope of the project's functionality
• Works with programming team to plan out methodology that will be used to program the application.
• Programs in ASP.NET 2.0 with C# and writes scripts for custom Web site applications.
• Utilizes Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Professional
• Utilizes SQL database functions to create database-driven applications.
• Integrates programming code with the graphical Web site layout and HTML provided by a Web Designer.
• Inputs data into databases, Administrative Interfaces and Web sites, as necessary.
• Remains up to date on latest browser and plug-in technology.
• JavaScript experience is a plus

Required Skills :

• Minimum 2 years experience doing web programming
• Minimum 6 months experience developing with ASP.NET
• Minimum 1 year experience developing with databases (MySql, Oracle, MSSql are acceptable)
• Must be proficient in written and spoken English  

Preferred Skills :

• 2+ years MS SQL Server 7 or above
• Database design experience
• T-SQL experience
• 1+ years developing with Visual Studio
• ATLAS, AJAX experience

Hours: full-time or contract positions available

Location: Atlanta, GA or Gainesville, FL

Compensation: Salary or hourly rate (contract) commensurate with experience. Benefits for FT employees include health insurance, PTO, 401K, flex-time, Aflac and life insurance
