High Web Design Standard
The Savannah College of Art and Design was founded in 1978 in Savannah, GA. to establish a high standard of art education. Today, the school has extended its reach with campuses in Atlanta, GA. and Lactose, France. An online program is also available for those unable to relocate. Students from all 50 states and over 80 different countries attend the college, which was ranked “Hottest for Studying Art” among America’s Top 25 Hottest Colleges by Kaplan/Newsweek.

Atlanta Web designers may be interested in such areas of study as graphic design, interactive design, digital publishing, or visual communication. Many of the basic Web development concentrations focus on design fundamentals and allow students to use a variety of industry-standard applications for Web design.
Savannah Campus
The Savannah campus covers more than 2 million square feet through the historic and Victorian districts of the city. The urban campus is made up of not only classrooms but studios, computer labs, darkrooms, galleries, theaters, dinning halls, resident complexes, and fitness centers. The technology at each campus is among the most advanced and integrates seamlessly into the curriculum. The Student Media Center even offers a student-run production group, Web community, and radio station.
Your Web Design Degree The private, nonprofit school is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Bachelor’s and master’s degrees are available for more than 35 areas of study. Minors and certificates can also be earned in such areas as interactive design and new media art.
