Creativity Atlanta: The Advertising and Creative Group

Creativity Atlanta is one of the cities leading advertising and interactive groups. Recently, the organization merged with the Advertising Production Association of Atlanta (APAA) to better serve the Atlanta interactive design community. Both groups now provide educational programs for those wishing to study advertising and interactive design production. The organization prides itself on endowing its members with the ability to develop professional and creative aspects of their careers.
   
During origination meetings, members can discuss and debate the advancements made in print and interactive production methods and standards. The community of advertising, corporate communication, print, and interactive publishing professionals network and discuss important topics in the field. Currently the Board of Directors includes Andy Goldsmith of The American Cancer Society as President; Thom Gonyeau of Mountain View Group, First Vice President; Garet Hayes of Hope-Beckham Inc., Public Relations; and Steve Jones of Garner & Jones CPAs, Treasurer.
   
Through its presentation of the Show South Awards, Creativity Atlanta recognizes creative excellence in the Atlanta Web design community while giving winners a chance to compete nationally in the ADDY Awards through the American Advertising Federation. Educational Programs are also offered to members through the Evening at Emory program and Career Day for college students.
