As the premier art publication in the Southeast, Art Papers is one of the most respected and widely recognized art journals in the nation. The publication began in 1976 as a newsletter for the Atlanta Art Workers Coalition. For more than 25 years, Art Papers has grown and pushed the boundaries of contemporary art.

Current editor Dr. Charles Reeve recruited new writers, expanded the coverage of contemporary issues, and shifted the magazine’s sensitivity to incorporate new dimensions of art, including computer transformations and video games.
