It’s all a numbers game in business, and last year, 352 Media Group exceeded them all.

In 2011, 352 Media Group brought on 24 new employees for its Web development and digital marketing team, a 61% increase from 2010. Its staff wasn’t the only thing growing, though. The company also increased its revenue by almost 50%, closing out the year at $5.2 million. Geoff Wilson, president and CEO of the digital marketing and Web design company, expects to bring in $7 million in revenue in 2012.

352 Media Group was also named to the INC 500|5000 list for the fifth consecutive year in 2011.

That’s a long way from its humble beginnings in a dorm room at the University of Florida.

“It’s exciting seeing how far we’ve come,” Wilson said. “I can’t wait to see what new opportunities will allow us to continue giving our customers a better experience in Web development and digital marketing.”

Coming off this banner year, 352 Media Group has also hired five new employees in first 18 days of the New Year.

Joining 352 Media Group’s digital marketing team is Brian Russell and Vance Miller. Russell comes to 352 Media Group from Gainesville Health & Fitness, where he worked in marketing and public relations since 2006. He’s a native of Montgomery, AL, and a graduate of Auburn University. Miller has worked in marketing since 1998 and search engine optimization since 2001.

352 Media Group also created a small business web design division in 2011 that gives small businesses and start-ups big business results in Web design, SEO and social media marketing without the big business budget. With the addition of three designers, the core Web solutions team has grown by 60 percent since its founding.

“We’ve really been able to distinguish ourselves from being just another Web design company that offers template Web packages for clients that have smaller budgets,” said Jan Siemaszko, director of sales and marketing for 352 Media Group’s core Web solutions team.

Joining the small business division as full-time designers are Michael Dang and Alex Silva, who both came from the 352 Media Group’s fall internship program. Silva is a graduate of Sante Fe Community College, and Dang is a graduate of the International Academy of Design and Technology in Orlando.  Jason Garner will also be working for the small business team on a part-time basis.
